Fashion Institute
Satyam Fashion Institute, affiliated to the SNDT Womens University, Mumbai, has commenced the following courses for the Academic year 2007-08: BSc Fashion Design, BSc Fashion Communication, and Diploma in Computer Aided Fashion Design, PGD in Fashion Retail, PGD in Apparel Marketing and Merchandising, and PGD in Fashion Logistics. The institute aims to emphasise empowering women education in fashion business since the trained professional women would play an important role in the growth of the Indian economy and will be an integral part of the industry set-up at an operational and decision making level.
