Banking Diploma
ICICI Bank has announced its Probationary Officer Programme for talented graduates who are unable to take up additional professional studies due to financial constraints. The fully residential postgraduate diploma in banking and insurance will be offered by the ICICI Academy of Banking and Insurance in collaboration with the Manipal University. Apart from the fully paid study, students will also be paid a stipend. The one-year course also includes a three-month internship with ICICI Bank, and graduates will be offered the position of assistant manager with the bank, at a gross annual salary of Rs 3.5 lakhs. Alternately, students can continue with the e-MBA programme for another two years at the Manipal University. The programme is scheduled to start in November 2007. Graduates and postgraduates (MBA excluded) with 55% are eligible to apply.
