The Most Worshipful Williams Grand Lodge and Chapter OES, Ancient Free and Accepted Masons of Scottish Rite, Inc. of South Carolina, will host its 27th Annual Scholarship and Fellowship Banquet on Oct. 5.
The guest speaker for the occasion will be state Rep. Bakari T. Sellers, D-Denmark. Sellers is a graduate of Morehouse College in Atlanta, Ga. and is currently a student of law at University of South Carolina Law School. He served as student government president while at Morehouse and as a member of the Board of Trustees.
The banquet will begin at 8 p.m. at the Williams Grand Lodge Temple, 921 Russell Street. Tickets are available from the Grand Lodge, and from members of the various subordinate lodges and OES chapters throughout the state. Call 803-536-3011 for more information or tickets.
