IT Conference
Delhi Public School, R K Puram recently organised a national conference on Information Technology for school principals, the agenda being: Schools in 2020: Redefining education through Information Technology bringing technology experts and school heads on a common platform wherein they could share ideas related to teaching and classroom practices and integrating IT in school education. One hundred and thirty participants representing sixty-five schools from all over the country attended the event. Shayama Chona, principal, DPS, R K Puram, emphasised that technology has the power to transform the traditional lecture-based classroom to a dynamic learning environment. Dinesh Singh, director, DU expressed his views on the evolution of technology and its diverse effects on mankind besides highlighting the need to make maximum use of the technological advancements to aid us in everyday life.
