The government has announced that it would soon introduce nano technology courses in some Central universities that have completed 150 years. Disclosing this at an ASSOCHAM organised 5th Knowledge Millennium Summit, Minister of State, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Dr. D. Puran deswari said that nano faculties and courses would first commence in Universities of Kolkata, Mumbai and Chen-nai. Subsequently, the nano courses and faculties could be extended in all other universities across the country as India was facing an acute shortage of nano scientists.
