Bank TIE-UP
The Institute of Finance, Banking and Insurance (IFBI) and HDFC Bank have entered into a partnership wherein students of IFBIs six-month postgraduate diploma in banking operations (PGDBO) would join HDFC Bank as trainees. Identified students of IFBI will receive an offer of employment at the time admission and these students will complete the internship component of their PGDBO programme at HDFC Bank, and subsequently get employed, post successful completion of the requirements. IFBI already has a tie-up with ICICI Bank for recruitment of its PGDBO students, and more than 1000 graduates have already joined under this scheme, while another 1000 are currently completing their training prior to employment. IFBI is an initiative of NUT Ltd to develop talent for the financial services sector. The institute has new centres in Ahmedabad, Pune, Gurgaon, Bhubaneswar and Nagpur, in addition to its existing centres at Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Kolkata
