The Ecumenical Institute for Studies on the basis of the Ukrainian Catholic University of Lviv, Ukraine is proud to announce the first Master’s Distance Learning Program in ecumenical studies in the English language. The program brings together an international ecumenical community of teachers and learners. People interested are cordially invited to apply either for the full programme or for certain classes.
The program consists of rigorous courses and complete reading and writing, and the possibility to write a Master Thesis, under the direction of ecumenists that, from all over the world. For example, during ecumenical theology, ecclesiology ecumenical and bilateral and multilateral ecumenical dialogues. The program is aimed at students are motivated to work independently using the online opportunities for interviews with colleagues and teachers.
The inspiration to create a distance learning courses in the curriculum of ecumenism comes from the nature of the field. Ecumenism and the ecumenical movement are driven by the desire for the people of God. Distance education gives us the opportunity to come together from all over the world, they are deeply concerned about the divisions within the Body of Christ, the creation of an online community at present facts, undertakes critical issues and seeks opportunities for healing.
The main distance education programme in the Ecumenical Studies offers a first step in vocational training and university in the world of ecumenism, additional training for work in other areas, and an opportunity for spiritual growth for all .
