AIPMT 2009 All India Pre-Medical Pre-Dental Entrance Exam
All India Pre-Medical/Pre-Dental Entrance Exam is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for admissions to the medical and dental colleges all over India.
Important dates of AIPMT
1. 06-04-09 – date of preliminary examination and the timings will be from 10:00am to 01:00pm.
2. 11-05-09 – date of final examination and the timings will be from 10:00am to 12:00 noon and then 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
Eligibility criteria of AIPMT
1. The candidate must be of Indian nationality.
2. The minimum age of the candidate is 17 years and the maximum age limit is 25 years.
3. The candidate must have studied PCB, mathematics and English core at class 12th level. Instead of mathematics the candidate may have any elective subject.
Examination pattern of AIPMT
1. The preliminary examination will consist of 200 objective type questions from PCB and the duration is 3 hours.
2. The final examination will be comprised to two subjective papers. Paper 1 contains physics and chemistry questions of two hours duration and the second paper has question from biology which is also of 2 hours duration.
