NEE 2009 NERIST Entrance Examination
NERIST entrance examination is conducted by North Eastern Institute of Science & Technology each year for admission to the degree, diploma and certificate courses. NEE for certificate, Diploma and Degree courses are called NEE-1, NEE-2 and NEE-3 respectively.
Important dates of NEE
1. 04-02-09 – deadline for receipt of application form.
2. 19-04-09 – date of NEE-2 and NEE-3 examination.
3. 20-04-09 – date of NEE-1 examination.
Eligibility criteria of NEE
For NEE-1:
1. The maximum age limit of the candidate is 19 years.
2. The candidate must also be clear pass in class 12th examination with physics and mathematics as main subjects.
For NEE-2:
1. The maximum age limit of the candidate is 23 years.
2. The minimum requirement is that the candidate must be clear pass in PCM or PCMB in the class 12th examination or equivalent examinations. The list to which can be easily obtained from the NERIST site.
For NEE-3:
1. The maximum age limit of the candidate is 40 years.
2. The applicant must be having atleast 60% marks in the diploma examination and must have done a 3 year diploma course in the respective course of interest.
Application procedure:
1. The cost of the application is Rs.650/-.
2. Downloaded form must accompany a DD of Rs.750/- in favour of ‘Director, NERIST’ payable at SBI NIRJULI (Code No. 9535).
3. The completed application must be registered or speed post to the following address

4. Attested copies of the documents must be sent. Do not send any original document.
