Introduction
Medical Common Entrance Test is conducted by Association of Managements of Unaided Private Medical and Dental Colleges for admission to approximately 110 colleges with a total intake capacity of around 6000 students. MBBS BDS BAMS BPTh BOTh BSc
Important details of AMUPMDC
1. 01/03/2009 to 10/04/2009 – availability of application forms.
2. 10/04/2009 – last date of submission of completed application forms
3. 15/04/2009 – last date of submission of completed application forms with late fee of Rs.500/-
4. 01/05/2009 to 10/05/2009 – issue of Admit Cards by Post
5. 20/05/2009 – date of examination and the timings are from 2 pm to 5 pm
Eligibility criteria of AMUPMDC
1. The minimum age of the candidate should be atleast 17 years.
2. The candidate appearing for the examination must have cleared class 12th examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English with 50% marks.

Examination pattern:
1. The paper consist of 200 multiple choice questions.
2. Number of physics questions – 50
3. Number of chemistry questions –50
4. Number of biology questions – 100
5. There is no negative marking and each correct answer will yield 1 mark.
