Introduction
All India Pre veterinary Test (AIPVT) is conducted for admission to five years B.V.Sc & A.H Degree Courses. The total intake is 15% of the total veterinary seats all over India.
Important dates of AIPVT
1. 01.01.2009 to 15.2.2009 – availability of application forms.
2. 10.05.2009 – date of examination and the timings will be from 2:00pm to 5:00pm.
Eligibility criteria for AIPVT
1. The candidate must have studied PCB, mathematics and English core at class 12th level. Instead of mathematics the candidate may have any elective subject.
2. The minimum age of the candidate must be 17 years.
3. The candidate must have scored a minimum of 50% marks in PCB and clear pass in English core examination.
Examination pattern of AIPVT
1. The total duration of the examination is 3 hours having 200 multiple choice type questions.
2. Number of physics questions – 60
3. Number of chemistry questions – 60
4. Number of biology questions – 80
Syllabus for AIPVT
The university has not prescribed any syllabus as such but the syllabus will be like other medical examinations having PCB questions from class 11th and 12th.
do you have to write entrance exams for other colleges in other states or is the AIPVT sufficient to get admission in colleges in other states.
