NCHMCT 2009 National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology
National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT) was setup in delhi 1982 by Ministry of Tourism. The council was established with an aim of providing professional and skilled training in the field of hotel management so that they can easily cater to the hospitality and tourism industry. The council provides bachelors and masters degree in Hospitality and Hotel Administration along with the cooperation of IGNOU. The duration of the course is 3 years and both the universities have recently launched Ph.D. Program in Hospitality.
Important dates for NCHMCT
(for M.Sc):
1. june – availability of application forms
2. First week of july – last date to submit completed application forms.
3. July – date of entrance examination
4. July – declaration of result
5. End of july – start of session

2. M.Sc. Hospitality Administration
3. Post Graduate Diploma in Accommodation Operation and Management
4. Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics and Hospital Food Service
5. Craftsmanship Course in Food Production
6. Craftsmanship Course in Food and Beverage Service.
7. Certificate Course in Hotel and Catering Management
8. Diploma in Food Production
9. Diploma in Food and Beverage Service
10. Diploma in Front Office
11. Diploma in House Keeping
12. Diploma in Bakery and Confectionery
Eligibility criteria of NCHMCT
1. The minimum requirement is that the candidate must be clear pass in class 10th and 12th board examinations or any other equivalent examination.
2. The upper age limit for the candidates appearing for post graduate examinations is 25 and for other courses the age limit is 22.

3. Mid april – date of examination
4. Mid june – counseling
