SRMC 2009 Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute
Sri Ramachandra Medical College & Research Institute is situated in Chennai and as the website it is a Harvard Medical International Associated Institution. SRMC provides admission to various number of medical and dental courses and each year it conducts examinations for the same purpose. The university was established in 1985 and since then it is doing well and it got the status of deemed university in 1994.
Important dates of SRMC
1. Last week of nov – availability of application forms.
2. Last week of dec – deadline for submission of completed application forms.
3. Third week of jan morning time – Group A,B,C,E examination
4. Same day of jan afternoon time – Group D examination

Group A courses for SRMC
D.M. in Neurology, Medical Gastroenterology, Nephrology, Cardiology
Group B courses for SRMC
1. M.ch. in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Paediatric Surgery , Neuro Surgery , Surgical Gastroenterology , Urology
2. D.M. in Cardio Vascular & Thoracic Surgery
Group C courses:
1. M.D. in General Medicine , Paediatrics, Anaesthesiology , Radio – Diagnosis , Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy , Pathology, Psychiatry
2. M.S. in General Surgery, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology
3. Diploma. in Child Health (D.C.H), Obstetrics & Gynaecology (D.G.O), Anaesthesiology (D.A), Orthopaedics (D. Ortho.), Ophthalmology (D.O), Otorhinolaryngology (D.L.O), Medical Radio – Diagnosis (D.M.R.D), Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy (D.D.V.L), Psychiatry (D.P.M)
Group D courses:
1. M.D. in Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Community Medicine
2. Dip. in Public Health (D.P.H.)
Group E courses:
1. M.D.S. in Prosthodontics, Periodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Conservative Dentistry & Endodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Medicine and Radiology, Oral Pathology, Pedodontics.
Eligibility criteria:
1. For group A courses the candidate must have M.D. (General Medicine) or M.D. (Paediatrics) or any other recognized equivalent qualification.
2. For group B courses the candidate must have M.S. (General Surgery) or any other recognized equivalent qualification.
3. For group C and D courses the candidate must have MBBS Degrees and should have undergone the complete rotatory Internship.
4. For group E courses the candidate must have BDS Degree and should have undergone the complete rotatory Internship.
