XIMB 2009 Xavier Institute of Management
Xavier Institute of Management is situated in Bhubaneswar and aims at proving high quality education to the students aspiring for PGDM, PGDMRM and Doctoral Level Fellow Program in Management. XIMB provides admission to part time as well as full time management courses. The admission to Xavier Institute of Management is however based on the performance of the candidate in the XAT and IRMA Test.
Important dates of XIMB
1. Sep to dec 08 — Filling of Online application forms
2. 9-11-08 – date of IRMA Test for admission to PGDRM
3. 04-01-09 – date of XAT for admission to PGDM/PGDM-RM/FPM
4. 3-01-09 – date of XIMB test for FPM
5. First week of Feb — Group Discussion & Interview
6. Last week of March — Announcement of final admission results
7. Middle of June — Beginning of new academic session

1. Postgraduate Diploma in Management ( PGDM)
2. Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Management (PGDRM)
3. Postgraduate Diploma in Management for working executives (PGDM-PT)
4. Doctoral Level Fellow Program in Management (FPM)
Eligibility criteria for XIMB
1. For admission into PGDM and PGDRM the candidate must have bachelor’s degree in any field.
2. For admission into PGDM-PT the candidate must have bachelor’s degree in any field and should also have a working experience of at least 3 years if working in public, private or non-governmental sector. Self employed individuals need to have a minimum of 5 years experience.
3. For admission into FPM the candidate must have master’s degree in any field with atleast 55% marks or a graduate individual with 2 years of experience can also apply.
Selection process of XIMB
1. PGDM – based on XAT, GD, PI, work experience and previous record.
2. PGDRM – based on IRMA or XAT, GD, PI, work experience and previous record.
3. PGDM-PT – based on past academic performance and work experience.
4. FPM – based on CAT, UGC NET, XAT, or the XIMB Research Aptitude Test (XIMB-RAT)
