Uttaranchal Joint Entrance Test - (UAJET)
The candidates who are willing to get admission in MBA, MCA and Allied Courses (regular and part-time) in all Management and MCA Institutes/University Departments have to go through UAJET - Uttaranchal Joint Entrance Test is a conducted by the Co-ordination Committee, Kumaun University - Nainital.
Test Pattern UAJET 2008:
The test will include the following subjects:
English Language: The questions cover grammar, vocabulary, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, relationship between words and phrases and comprehension of passages.
Quantitative Aptitude: It consists of a test of numerical aptitude based on general mathematics, numerical calculation, arithmetic, simple algebra and geometry. This also tests the ability to interpret common graphs, charts and tables.
Current Affairs: It is related to trade, industry, economy, sports and culture.
Statistics: Theory of probability, Mean, Median, Mode, Dispersion and Standard Deviation.
Verbal Reasoning: The test is based on assessment of figures, diagrams, unfamiliar relationships and verbal reasoning.
Test Duratuon: 2.5 hrs.
Admission Details:
Short-listing of candidates will be short-listed on the basis of their performance in the Written Test and shall be listed for Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
Merit List shall be prepared for each category of candidates separately.
Its compulsory to appear in both Written test as well in personal interview and group discussion.
Merit will be decided on the test, interview, group discussion and other qualifications.
Exam Date:
UAJET written exam is conducted in the month of June every year.
