The combined premedical test for Uttar Pradesh was postponed today following alleged leakage of the question paper with the authorities arresting four persons in this connection here. Thousands of students were slated to appear for the pre- medical examination, which was to be held today for a total of 782 seats. The special task force of Uttar Pradesh police laid a trap and arrested four persons last night for selling the purported question paper of the medical entrance exam. Superintendent of police Akhil Kumar said Rs 2.25 lakhs in cash, cheques worth Rs 12 lakhs and rubber stamps besides the question papers purported to be of CPMT were recovered form the possession of those arrested. It was yet to be verified whether the alleged CPMT question papers recovered last night were fake or genuine, Kumar said.
