The Class 12 results of the rescheduled examinations held for Tsunami-affected students of Andaman and Nicobar Islands would be declared before June 30, CBSE announced today.
The examinations, which were, originally to be held in March had started from May 17 in several schools, mostly in the Nicobar Islands.
Though the tests would run till June four, we will surely declare the results before June 30, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Chairman Ashok Ganguly told reporters.
He said 13 schools had been badly damaged when the giant waves had struck on December 26 last year and nine of them on Nicobar Islands had been almost completely washed away.
After the Tsunami disaster, CBSE had rescheduled the examinations in the badly-hit centres in Andaman and Nicobar Islands, though they were held as scheduled in other centres and with the results declared
