Students in most of the country will get to know their CBSE Class 10 results from today, but those in Delhi, Uttar Pradesh and eastern India will have to wait till Thursday.
Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Chairman Ashok Ganguly said results for Ajmer, Chandigarh and Chennai regions will be posted on its websites at 1800 IST today.
National Network of Education(NNE) will also provide the result on its Exam results portal, Examresults.net. NNE will also bestow the help line service on 011-26431371 and 011- 26431341, through which the students can enquire about their respective scores.
Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Dadra and Nagar Haveli, Chhattisgarh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Goa, Pondicherry, Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Daman and Diu come under these regions.
The results for Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, West Bengal, Uttaranchal, Jharkhand and the North-eastern states will be declared at 1800 IST on May 26, Ganguly said.
Asked why the results were being declared in two phases, he said this was because the new academic session in southern India and parts of the west started from June one.
