Borland India Private Limited on Monday announced that RM Education Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. (RMESI) has selected Borland 2005 Enterprise Edition as its Java platform of choice to develop applications for interactive learning, teacher training, ICT skills assessment solutions and student management information systems.
RM Education Solutions India Pvt. Ltd. (RMESI), an ISO 9001:2000 certified company, is the offshore development centre of RM plc, UK, a 263.3mn leading educational software company providing solutions to schools in the UK, North America and Australia.
The company chose JBuilder 2005 primarily for its flexibility and ease of use in building various Java components using drag and drop features, syntax verification functionality and seamless integration with different web and application servers. As the offshore development centre for RM plc, RMESI is responsible for maintenance projects, application re-packaging, application development and technical and customer support solutions.
Anand Balakrishnan, Chief Technology Officer, RM Education Solutions India, said, Choosing Borland JBuilder 2005 Enterprise Edition was a wise decision, as the advanced features in JBuilder 2005 helped us save 40 percent of our time developing and testing applications and significantly increased our return on investment.
