The results for the Class X and Class XII Central Board examinations would be declared before June 10, the Rajya Sabha was informed today.
Human Resource Development Minister Arjun Singh said in a written reply that the information was furnished by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) and the Council of Boards of School Education in India (COBSE).
The Supreme Court had in January this year asked all the states to declare Plus Two results by June 10, he informed. With the declaration of results by many states including Rajasthan, Orissa and Kerala for specific streams, it seems that the Govt. is thus firm on its decision. As followed by the assertion made by SC, the results by all states need to be declaed by June 10.
