Pay scale of Defence schools staff to be revised

The Delhi high court has directed the schools run by Defence Establishments to follow the pay scale set by the Directorate of Education in giving salaries to their teaching and non-teaching staff.

Though the school claimed that it was a charitable institution and charged a student a very nominal amount unlike the other private institutions, Justice Bhat rejected the schools contention and directed the school to revise its pay-scale form next session
