IIT aspirants kept up their protest against the new entry rules to the IITs with 50 students marching towards Rashtrapati Bhavan. The students took to the decision of meeting Mr.President after they were stopped from carrying out a demonstration outside IIT. But all their efforts went futile after they were detained by the police from meeting the President and were let go off from Parliament Street Police Station after a warning.
An angry student, who took part in the demonstration said that they wanted the President to intervene, but were not allowed to register their protest. A coaching institute in Delhi now plans to take a delegation of students and parents of the IIT aspirants to Sonia Gandhi seeking her attention on this matter
