Kanpur based Kothari Products Ltd. & maker of famous Panparg has announced to invest 200 crore in education sector. In this foray in next few years the group will set up few international colleges and schools across the India.
Recently the group has started its first project Kothari International School in collaboration with Global Education Management Systems in the outskirt of Delhi at Noida. Inaugurating this project at Noida the group’s Managing Director Deepak Kothari said, “We are aiming at to set up 10 schools & colleges across in India in next few years.”
The new school’s first academic session would commence from April 2006. But the admission process for the new school had been already started from this month. Form the beginning the school will have classes from kindergarten to class five. The school will follow the curriculum of CBSE & National curriculum of England. It will be charged Rs 15,000 for admission fee along with monthly fee of Rs 3,500 for kindergarten and Rs 4m000 for 1to5 class students.
The group has identified Ahmedabad & Lonavala for its upcoming projects. On the establishment of specialised education institution he further said, we are not only focusing on general education but also specialised educational institutions like dental colleges & so on. But he said initially we are focusing on the western region later on we are expanding our education horizon to the other region of the country
