Prof. Amartya Sen did India proud by becoming the first Indian to head the prestigious Trinity College of UK. Now it is the turn of another Indian, Srikant M Datar who is in the same rein but the institution is Harvard Business School, the worlds richest management institute.
The university daily reported that India born Srikant M Datar has emerged as a front-runner candidate for the deanship of Harvard Business School. He has emerged out as the leading candidate, along with other six other candidates and is more likely to succeed Kim B Clark.
He is currently working with Dickinson as a Professor of Accounting. The Indian born Mr. Datar a graduate gold medalist from IIM Ahemdabad and has a doctorate from Stanford University to his credit. He has worked with number of multinationals like GM, AT&T, Boeing, Tata & DuPont.
