Aftermath the Allahabad High Courts order, the Union governments decision to challenge the verdict brings a huge sigh of relief among the students and teachers of the university. The decision has been welcomed by the students as well as the teachers.
Earlier this month, Allahabad High Court in a historic verdict quashed the minority status of Aligarh Muslim University, which brought dissatisfaction in the campus. Yesterday the Joint Action Committee of the university took a silent procession and submitted an MOU to the Prime Minister through the district administration. In this memorandum letter, the action committee has appreciated the governments decision.
