Days are gone, when Indian parents preferred to send their kids to abroad for higher education but now the scenario has reversed with NRI parents seeking to send their children to India for better education. It is clearly reflected in the case Gujarati NRI parents.
A report says that nearly 10 to 15 % of students in the various schools of Gujarat are Non-Resident Indians (NRIs). In Shree Swami Narayan Gurukul Viswavidya Parishthanam Residential School nearly 10% of the students are NRIS. In Gujarat Public School at Vadodra out of 80 students nearly 20 students are NRIs.
With aggressive marketing strategy, perfect blend of Indian culture and ancient Indian education like yoga & Sanskrit these schools have managed to attract NRIs students. These schools are also providing separate residential facilities to the NRI students. These schools are charging between Rs. 60,000 to Rs 2 lakh per annum.
Most of the students are coming from the USA, UK, Fiji, South Africa, Dubai and South East Asian
