First State Funded Hindu School in UK

In UK the Department for Education and Skills has given the nod to set up Hindu School in London. The department has agreed to provide 9.8 million pounds to set up this school. This school will be established in Harrow of northwest London. It is expected that the school will be open to students from 2010.

About 20 percent of the population of the Harrow is Hindu. The school will have at least 240 students
