Himachal Pradesh University Gets Rs 10 crore

Central government approves Rs 10 crore for development of Himachal Pradesh University as per the announcement made by the P.M, Dr Manmohan Singh. This money will be spent for infrastructure development of the university.
As per this proposal, a sum of Rs 2 crore each would be spent on the development of the Regional Centre, Dharamsala, construction of a multi-faculty building, examination wing and indoor gymnasium on the campus here. A sum of Rs 1 crore each has been earmarked for the construction of the Vice-Chancellors Office and developing parking facility
