JNU Student Union Election Date Announced

Election season is the festive season in JNU campus as you can read from the visage of the students. The election fever is beginning to gather momentum in the JNU campus with the announcements of the election date. The elections are scheduled to be held on October 27 and results will be announced the next day. The date was finalized at the all party meeting convened by JNU Student Union Election Committee on Sunday, October 9. During this meeting a notification of election schedule was announced.

The notification said nomination forms will be available from October 10, while nomination from would received on October 13 and 14. And in the next day all the valid nominations will be displayed. October 16 will be the date for the withdrawal of nominations and on October 17, the final list of candidates will be announced. From October 18 to 24 various general body meeting will be held, followed by presidential debate on October 25.
