The honourable Supreme Court will hear the application form of the All-India Medical and Engineering Colleges Association on October 21, regarding the vacant seats. In the application the association is seeking permission to fill the vacant seats in 165 dental and paramedical colleges in 22 states.
The issue of vacant seats had not been brought to the notice of the SC in the Islamic Academy case. A bench headed by Justice Y.K. Sabharwal directed listing of the application filed by T.D. Naidu, the president of All-India Medical and Engineering Colleges Association, after his counsel request for early hearing.
