The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced that this year`s Civil Services (Main) examination would be held from October 21. This highly competitive and challenging exam, which involves a variety of jobs in different government departments, would be held at 18 centres. UPSC officials said it had already sent letters of rejection to ineligible applicants and admission cards to qualifiers.
