The long standing demands of the workers union across the country for the creation of a Worker University will now become a reality. The proposal now gets a green signal from the HRD Ministry & minister Arjun Singh.
In this regard the ministry has already set up a committee under the G. Sanjeeva Reddy president of Indian National Trade Union Congress. The committee consists of members from various reputed institutes. The members are S.G. Dhande, director, IIT, Kanpur, P.B. Sharma, principal of Delhi College of Engineering, & S.D.
