The winter session of the Parliament will be an important session for the education sector. After the education bill from HRD ministry, the textile ministry is also all set to introduce a bill to make NIFT an institution of national importance.
This was announced by textiles minister Sankar Singh Vaghela. The bill will provide great operational flexibility for National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT). The bill will enables NIFT to design courses of graduate & post graduate as well as doctoral and post doctoral research level. It will also enable the NIFT to conduct course for teachers & professionals. The bill also includes a senate for maintaining the institutes exam and administrations.
