The coach, a middle school football assistant, was right about Yerrys natural ability. That, in addition to practice, made the Weddington senior a coveted college prospect at long-snapper.
Yerry committed to Oklahoma State Sunday night and expects to sign with the Cowboys as soon as Wednesday. Im excited, Yerry said. I cant wait.

The U.K. Chevening scholarship scheme is the British governments main program for sponsoring post-graduate study in the United Kingdom.

Waking into Judy Fediniks third grade classroom at St. Annes Day School, its easy to think youve stepped into a postcard of a South Sea resort.
The colorful, un-classroom-like space is instantly comfortable, filled with lush tropical plants, grass mats, woven tapestries and rattan chairs, tables and much-too comfy wicker settees. Filled water bottles for students sit ready on a side table and light strains of jazz fill the air.
It would not be a surprise if a macaw suddenly flitted from the bookshelf to a bulletin board – but that detail hasnt been added. Yet.

For scores of college students across the nation, the next few weeks of spring will constitute a countdown to summer recess. Between preparing for finals and cleaning out dorm rooms, one would think that the nations collegiate youth would be limited in the amount of free time on their hands. One would be wrong.
As a number of college students prepare to sit down and take a written examination on the history and meaning of the First Amendment, students at the University of Rhode Island (URI) are learning firsthand about censorship and government disregard for civil liberties. On Wednesday, under a great deal of pressure from URI administrators, civil rights activists and the Constitution, the URI Student Senate voted to defeat a measure that would have derecognized the URI chapter of the College Republicans.
I am thrilled that the URI Student Senate finally reached a reasonable and lawful resolution, stated Ryan Bilodeau, president of the College Republicans. As an organization, we are pleased to be able to continue to be a voice that challenges the status quo on campus.
